League of Legends: Wild Rift Patch 4.2 update is now live. With the Playhem patch, Riot Games is introducing three new champions, a brand-new elemental dragon, upgrades to the marksman champion’s equipment, as well as a ton of other new stuff.

The Ice Dragon, a brand-new elemental dragon, soars into the Rift in Patch 4.2. Killing the Ice Dragon is an especially satisfying objective for spell-wielding champions since doing so gives ability haste.
If the Ice Dragon is killed first in the game, a frozen landscape will take control of the Rift. Ice will appear around the borders of the structures in the jungle and river as a result of this frozen terrain, providing players an advantage while gliding across it. Frozen Fruit will also sprout when the icy landscape gains control. When a champion assaults it, any foes caught in its blast, such as Zhonya’s Hourglass, will be frozen, making them temporarily untargetable and invulnerable.
Riot Games wants to improve roles so that everyone who plays them throughout the year, whether they are a mage main or a lover of fighters, feels satisfied, rewarded, and having fun. In contrast to the previous patch, which focused on new and improved equipment for tanks, the Playhem update presents a number of exciting options for marksmen.
The new Immortal Shieldbow offers marksmen more security. When you receive damage that would reduce your health below a certain level, the item’s unique Lifeline passive will be activated, providing you a momentary shield and more attack damage that you may combine with the life steal the item has built in to increase your chances of surviving.
For marksmen, the attack damage, critical strike chance, and lethality of the Collector provide a strong trio of offensive stats. The item also allows you to execute enemies, increasing your money gain each time they are harmed below a certain level. In order to make Phantom Dancer, Manamune, and Essence Reaver more desirable pick-ups, Caster marksmen should also expect enhancements to those weapons.
In the Playhem patch, players will have additional choices to further customize their Wild Rift experience. Players may see side-by-side comparisons of their favorite Star Guardians and K/DA members thanks to the Gallery Skin Sets feature, which was added towards the year’s end. If a player has a whole collection of skins, they will also receive special awards.
The ability to customize the game’s UI is also being added. The Collection tab allows users to equip new modifications if they don’t like the standard colors.
The Playhem patch also includes a brand-new leaderboard competition that pits the two new playable Freljordian giants, Ornn and Volibear, against one another. Play games and complete missions to climb the leaderboard and get special rewards. Don’t worry about going too far; the system has been altered after taking into account players’ input from the previous round so that they may now gain some from the lower ranks.
