Phantom Vs. Vandal

The Vandal outperforms the Phantom somewhat in terms of metrics. Its potential for one shot, one kill makes it a dependable gun when tapped. The Vandal will almost definitely be the superior option when it comes to firearms in a long hallway or on an open site.

The Phantom shouldn’t be underrated, though, because of the way VALORANT’s close-quarters battlefields are designed. On a map like Breeze, the Vandal prevails in a long-range gunfight. The Phantom, though, reigns supreme up close and personal in a location like Icebox.

Five more bullets with the Phantom’s rapid-fire rate result in a lot of damage. Although it might not be the finest gun for tapping, it works much better for spraying. It is simple to handle and considerably more consistent in its spray than the Vandal.

Another advantage of the Phantom is that it doesn’t have bullet tracers. When dashing and firing or spraying through smoke, it readily prevails.

The Vandal struggles with unreliable spray control and performs unevenly in close-quarters combat. However, a timely touch to the head will still typically result in a kill.

The Vandal was the more well-liked of the two weapons at the VALORANT Champions in September 2022. Players utilized it more than 8,000 times in rounds, as opposed to 3,255 times for the Phantom.

You still have the option, though. Both the Phantom and the Vandal have both advantages and disadvantages, depending on the situation. When deciding between the two guns, one should also consider the terrain, site, position, and playstyle.

Do you like to engage in close combat with your foes? Decide on the Phantom. Would you rather wait it out while relaxing on a site? Think about selecting the Vandal.
