If a player disconnects during a match, the Valorant remake feature might help you avoid it. Here’s how to use the Valorant match remake feature.

You may have experienced instances in Valorant where a random player left during the buy phase or the first round itself or went AFK. Often, you won’t know if the player will return or if they’re purposefully throwing the game; hence, the remake feature is extremely helpful in this situation.

Your entire team would wish to initiate a “remake call” since it prevents RR loss and time wastage. Therefore, our tutorial contains all the information you require if you’re wondering how to remake a match in the game.

Valorant match remake instructions: A step-by-step tutorial

Doing the Valorant match remake is a pretty easy process. Your team can request a rematch during the second round’s 30-second buy phase if a random player disconnects at any point during the first round, putting your team in a 4v5 position.

valorant match remake

To start a Valorant match remake, simply follow these easy steps:

Open the in-game chat.
Type “/remake” and press Enter.
A voting prompt will open up for the other players on the team.
All four players must select the “Yes” option (F5 button) on the bottom left, for a fresh start.

Then your current match will be canceled, forcing you to wait in line for a competitive match.

The nicest part about this Valorant match remake feature is that you won’t lose any RR or MMR; nevertheless, the disconnected player will be penalized. With the release of patch 1.07 in 2020, the Remake feature was made available in Valorant.

Keep in mind that if you are part of a party of five stacks, this functionality won’t function. You must wait for your buddy to rejoin if a player leaves at a random time.
