Benjy “benjyfishy” Fish, a former Fortnite pro turned VALORANT player, is the latest pro to gripe about the current status of competitive matches in Riot Games’ FPS.

Random gamers ZZZ Aphun#laura and S1 Shakie#666 trolled one of his competitive matches in VALORANT, according to one German professional player, and benjyfishy entered the post and said that he has been experiencing difficulties with the same person for months.

“Aphun has been trolling my games for months,” benjyfishy said. “[He] says he isn’t trolling but drops 3 kills maximum [per] game. [I’m] sad to see this is still going on.”

Aphun’s Twitter profile states that he is looking to play as an in-game leader or flex and is eager to play VALORANT full-time. He hasn’t responded to qrizlyy’s or Benjyfishy’s assertions, however. Benjyfishy, on the other hand, has been competing professionally for a team named Enterprise Esports, which is now ranked 42nd in Europe by VLR.gg.

Since early January, there has been an outcry in VALORANT’s professional scene as professional players and streamers discovered that players are intentionally tossing ranked matches to alter outcomes for crypto-betting platforms on which they have a bet. It’s unclear whether Aphun is one of these individuals who is trolling matches to generate money from cryptocurrency betting companies.
