After the Stage 2 Masters, the VCP (Valorant Circuit Points) is complete. Two of the highest circuit points in each region will get direct participation in the upcoming Valorant Champions. The remaining slot will be decided by the last chance qualifier, a last-ditch effort for teams in each region to get a slot for the Champions. On August 1-7, ten of the best APAC teams battle for the last chance qualifiers. This event’s winner will play in the most awaited Valorant Champions.

BOOM Esports Is Going To Valorant Champions

After finishing 7th-8th place in the most recent Stage 2 Masters, BOOM Esports who is composed of Gary “blaZek1ng” Dustin, Saibani “fl1pzjder” Rahmad, Rizkie Adla “BerserX” Kusuma, David “Tehbotol” Monangin and Fikri “famouz” Zaki once again proved their worth by dominating the entire APAC region. First, they sent Griffin Esports to the lower bracket; then, they faced their fellow Indonesians, ONIC Esports. BOOM would send ONIC to the lower bracket and advance to the upper bracket finals, where they will face the favourites to qualify, Bleed Esports. Both games 1 and 2 were close fights, BOOM Esports took game number 1, and Bleed Esports retaliated by evening the score. Going into game three, BOOM Esports showed finesse as they beat ONIC and moved into the Grand Finals.

In the grand finals, they will face ONIC Esports again. After a dominating 2-0, ONIC will capitalize and take game number 3. However, BOOM Esports is just too good, and they finished ONIC in game number 4. ONIC played the series valiantly, scoring double digits in any of the four games. It was a close game, but BOOM Esports’ tenacity put them on top.

There will be 16 teams all over the globe that will participate in the Valorant Champion. Currently, there are already 11 teams qualified for the biggest Valorant tournament. Throughout August, each Valorant region will host a last-chance qualifier to complete the 16 teams competing in the Valorant Champions.

BOOM Esports joined PRX and XIA
