Six nations will compete in the VALORANT event, which is a part of the 32nd Southeast Asian Games, in an effort to win medals and boost their nations’ egos.
The 32nd SEA Games’ VALORANT competition, which will feature six teams from May 8–10, will begin today in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Overall, the Southeast Asian Games are important for the countries of the region because they give athletes a platform to display their talents while also encouraging a sense of pride and cohesion among their citizens.

With the addition of VALORANT as a competition this year, the Games will now serve not just traditional sports but also the rapidly growing esports market, attracting a new generation of participants and spectators while showcasing the dynamic nature of contemporary competition.

Six teams will participate in the group stage of the competition in a single round-robin style, playing best-of-one matches. Securing one of the four highly sought-after postseason positions is each team’s main goal.

The first day of the tournament’s contests will start at 1 PM SGT and last until around 10 PM, covering the whole slate of matchups for the day. The schedule will slightly change the following day, with games starting later in the day, specifically between 5 and 9 PM.

The top four teams from the group stage will move on to the playoffs, which will take place on the final day, May 10, on Wednesday. This stage will include an exciting single-elimination bracket style with two semi-final matches, a third-place match, and a spectacular grand final as the conclusion.
