T1 Zeus: from shadows to Worlds Finals MVP

When it came to League of Legends, T1's journey in 2023 was full of ups and downs. But Choi "Zeus" woo-je, the team's top laner, never gave up. A lot of bad things happened this year. The worst was when T1 midlaner Lee "Faker" Sang-hyeok hurt his wrist during the...

With the upcoming release of Episode 5, Act 1 Riot will grace us with the Prelude to Chaos. A flashy, bright, and colorful skin set with plenty of visual effects, sound effects, variants, and animations. It has been several months since Riot delivered an exclusive edition skin bundle. The last one was the RGX 2.0 skin line, which was released at the start of Act 3. In the Prelude to Chaos skin line, some features to look forward to are the transformations, animations, kill banners, and custom audio sounds for the guns.

So, what weapons are we getting in the Prelude to Chaos skin set? We can expect Vandal, Operator, Shorty, Stinger, and a huge two-handed melee sword. We can also expect a custom spray and gun buddies. Each skin will feature a black and purple color scheme with glowing parts throughout. Each weapon skin besides the melee skin will include four levels of customization. The first will be the base skin, which is unlocked by purchasing the bundle or individual skin. Upgrading to level two will add muzzle flash effects and unique firing audio; level three will unlock custom animations. The fourth and final level adds a special kill banner and finisher. The double sword melee weapon can be upgraded once, adding new animation and visual effects alongside new audio.

The Prelude to Chaos will have three variants/colorways besides the base color scheme – green and red, silver and green, and a blue variant.

Like the RGX skins, this skin line is an XE tier, and the price tag will be set at 8700 Valorant Points (VP) for the bundle. The bundle will include all previously mentioned weapon skins and an exclusive gun buddy and spray. If a player wants to buy an individual skin, the price might be around 2475 VP, though buying the bundle can save a lot of money.

This wrap up our article for the upcoming Prelude to Chaos, an edgy sci-fi-inspired skin line set to be released in the upcoming Episode 5, Act 1: Dimensions. You will be able to purchase this bundle on June 22, 2022, when the Episode 5 patch goes live.

So what do you think about the upcoming gun bundles?
