On June 28, ESL Asia announced the ESL Snapdragon Wild Rift Pro Series. A total of $75,000 prize money will be split into four different sections.

  • Mobile Open
  • Mobile Open Finals
  • Mobile Challenge
  • Mobile Challenge Finals

ESL Snapdragon Wild Rift Pro Series Mobile Open

An open qualifier where teams can fight for a spot for the Mobile Open Finals. The Mobile Open features 4 key regions, MSPB (Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines, and Brunei), Vietnam, Thailand, and Indonesia.  The open qualifier will have a single-elimination format. The top four teams then will proceed to the Closed Qualifier.

In closed qualifier will feature a best-of-three, double-elimination format and a chance for $2,500 per region (evenly split between the top four teams). The qualifying teams will then advance to the Open Finals Group Stage. In the group stage, the top four teams will take on the other pro teams from their respective regions. Again, a total of $5,000 prize pool is split between each region. The group stage will be a best-of-three GSL format. The top four from each region will then advance to the next stage of the competition. Each team from the group stage will be awarded their share of the prize pool.

ESL Snapdragon Wild Rift Pro Series Mobile Open Finals

The top four teams from the group stage will fight in a best-of-five double-elimination format. The top two teams that will reach the finals will fight for a best-of-seven series. The top team will be the crowned champion of their region.

ESL Snapdragon Wild Rift Pro Series Mobile Challenge and Mobile Challenge Finals

The best teams across the Asia Pacific (APAC) will battle it out for a pool of $45,000(distributed among team rankings).

The ESL Snapdragon Wild Rift Pro Series Mobile Challenge will feature the top teams across all participating regions in a single round-robin format. where they will meet every other team once. There will be 4 matches played daily, with each team playing one match. The top five seeded teams will advance into double-elimination playoffs. The top team will have a bye in the playoffs, which will make them advance into the semi-finals.

The winning team will earn a whopping $14,625 and will be crowned as the ESL Snapdragon Wild Rift Champion in the Asia Pacific.
